I'm Richard Ford

I'm a developer with over a decade of experience. I build and maintain web platforms across higher education and e-commerce environments. I specialize in Drupal and PHP, managing multi-site infrastructure at scale, from custom module development and API integrations to cloud migrations and automated deployment workflows. My stack spans PHP (Drupal, Laravel, CodeIgniter), JavaScript (jQuery, React, React Native), Python, Bash, and Twig on the frontend and backend, with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis on the data side. I work daily with Git, Composer, Pantheon, DDEV, and CI/CD pipelines. I enjoy taking complex requirements and turning them into clear, maintainable solutions, whether that means modernizing legacy systems, streamlining deployments across 30+ sites, or rethinking how content is managed.
